We rely on volunteers and donations to provide this service.
We provide these services in a safe and caring environment in the centre of Camden Town where we serve clients from across London. We offer full confidentiality and all our policies and procedures follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) national guidelines.
CLCC
CLCC was founded in 1998 as a free service for people in need of counselling and unable to afford the fees usually charged by counsellors. The Centre’s uniqueness lies in the Open-Door policy whereby anyone who is in distress, trouble or in need can usually see a counsellor immediately. We rely on the energy and enthusiasm of over twenty volunteers to operate our services.
We have helped thousands of people since 1998
Having an open and judgement free space was very useful for me.
Helped just talking to someone out loud.
My counsellor was very kind and helped me to understand what led me to feel how I was feeling.
The CLCC has given me a listening ear, without prejudice, without judgement or pressure.
I went through a relationship break up during my counselling. To be honest, I don’t think I would have survived if it was not for my counsellor who is wonderful.
It makes me realise how much difference I could make for myself and make my life much better.
